Information You Provide:

Purchases: If you make a purchase on our Site, we may request certain Personal Information to facilitate payment and delivery of the products you purchase. Our store is hosted by Shopify Inc. ("Shopify"), so in completing a purchase, your data is stored in Shopify's data storage, databases and general Shopify application. If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase (ie. entering your credit card number in the checkout form), Shopify will store your credit card data only for as long as it is necessary to complete the transaction. Shopify's privacy policy can be found here. In some instances, your mailing address will be provided to one of our third-party logistics providers to facilitate shipment of your order.

Accounts: If you create an account on our site, we will collect and store the information you provide us. You do not have to share this information with us, but without it you may not be able to access certain features of our Site.

Publicly Posted: If you post information on public areas of our Site, that information is visible to and may be collected, stored and used by anyone. By posting information, you agree that you have obtained all necessary consents to make such information public and that by doing so you will not violate any laws. If you remove information that you have made public through or related to our Site, copies may remain viewable in cached or archived pages of our Site or if others have copied or saved that information. We are not responsible for the actions of any third parties with whom you share Personal Information.

We may also use the information we collect to display advertisements to our advertisers' target audiences. TORSSO will disclose your information where required to do so by lay, if subject to subpoena or other legal proceeding or if we reasonably believe that such action is necessary to (a) comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement; (b) to enforce of Terms of Use or to protect the security or integrity of our Services; and/or (c) to exercise or protect the rights, property or personal safety of TORSSO, our users or others.

Newsletter: If you do not want us to send you marketing or promotional communications, you can opt-out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any such promotional emails, checking the relevant box located on the form on which we collect your data or emailing us at ciao@shoptorsso.com.

Google Analytics: You can opt out of tracking by Google Analytics by using Google's Ads Settings or going to https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. You may also opt out of Google marketing products, but please not this does not opt you out of being served generic ads.

These opt-out tools are provided by third parties. We do not control or operate these tools or the choices that advertisers and others provide through these tools. Please note that you may still received advertisements from third parties within our Services even if you opt out of tailored advertising but they will not be based on your activity across unrelated websites.

Do Not Track Signals: Third parties may keep track of your browsing activities across third party websites. California Business and Professions Code Section 22575(b) provides that California residents are entitled to know we respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals. Certain web browsers enable users to activate a "Do Not Track" signal but we do not currently respond to the "Do Not Track" signal or other similar mechanisms.

Notices to California Residents

California Civil Code Section 1798.83, also known as the "Shine The Light" law, permits our users who are California residents to request and obtain from us, once a calendar year and free of charge, information about categories of personal information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes and the names and addresses of all third parties with which we shared personal information in the immediately preceding calendar year. If you are under 18 years of age, reside in California, and have a registered account with our Site, you have the right to request removal of unwanted data that you publicly post on our Site. To request removal of such data, please contact us using the contact information provided and include the email address associated with your account and a statement that you reside in California. We will make sure that the data is not publicly displayed on the Site, but please be aware that the data may not be completely or comprehensively removed from our systems.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment:
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

This Privacy Policy applies only to our Site. Our Site may contain advertisements or links to toher web site not operated or controlled by us (the "Third Party Site") and the policies and procedures described in this Privacy Policy do not apply to those Third Party Sites, even if you access them through our Site. We recommend that you carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Sites you access so you can understand the manner in which your information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.

You acknowledge that TORSSO may establish general practices and limits concerning use of the Services, including without limitation the maximum period of time that data and other content will be retained by the Services and the maximum storage space that will be allotted on the our servers on your behalf. You agree that TORSSO has no responsibility or liability for the deletion or failure to store any data or other content maintained or uploaded by our Site. You further acknowledge that TORSSO reserves the right to change these general practices and limits at any time, in its sole discretion. We will endeavor to give you notice of any such change where required by applicable law.

SECTION 9. LEGAL BASES FOR COLLECTING AND USING PERSONAL INFORMATION
Personal information collected through the Site may be stored and processed in the United States or any other country in which TORSSO or its subsidiaries, affiliates or service providers maintain facilities. If you are located in the European Union, United Kingdom or another jurisdictions with similar laws governing data collection and protection, we collect and process information about you only where we have a legal basis to do so under applicable law. We collect and use your Personal Information on the following bases:

• to further TORSSO's legitimate interests (where those interests are not outweighed by your interest in your Personal Information being protected) – this includes to market and promote our Site, to improve our Site, to protect our legal rights and interests and to comply with our legal obligations;

Where you have consented to our collection and use of your Personal Information, you have the ability to withdraw such consent at any time, but this will not affect any use of your Personal Information that has already occurred. Where we are collecting or using your Personal Information because we have a legitimate interest in doing so, you have the right to object to such collection and/or use.

Subject to any exemptions provided by law, you may have the right to request a copy of your Personal Information, as well as seek to update, delete or correct your Personal Information. When you may such requests, we may need time to investigate and facilitate your request.

Our Site is intended for users who are 18 years of age and older or the age of majority in your province, territory or country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without consent of the child's parent or guardian. SECTION 13. ADVERTISING & ANALYTICS
We use online advertising to keep you aware of what we're up to and to help you see and find our products. You may see TORSSO banners and ads when you are on other websites and apps, such as social media. We manage this through a variety of digital marketing networks and ad exchanges. We also use a range of advertising technologies. The banners and ads you see are based on information we hold about you, or your previous use of TORSSO (for example your TORSSO search history and the content you read on our site) or TORSSO ads you have previously clicked on. In regards to Facebook specifically, the connection to Facebook from our Shopify Store allows for the sharing of personal customer details directly from Shopify's servers to Facebook. These details cannot be blocked by ad blockers.
